Conversion of the original AGERE high-tech manufacturing facility in Tres Cantos, Madrid for the manufacture of photovoltaic cells.

The works include modifications to downgrade the existing Class 1 and Class 10,000 clean rooms facilities and their re-configuration to suit the new production process. The initial production is targeted at 30MW capacity.

The production process includes ultra-pure water and significant waste by product handling.

The initial area of the works is some 4.000m² although the site covers some 25.000m² of construction
